We're currently looking to grow our committed and friendly team working in our Sydney (Waterloo) office by filling the following position:


Matthias Media is seeking a permanent part-time Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role supports the Matthias Media team by managing customer enquiries and sales processes. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will work closely with the warehouse to ensure orders and customer enquiries are met on time.

Primary responsibilities:

• Processing sales (phone, internet, email and face-to-face)
• Proactive handling of customer relationships and enquiries
• Monitoring the debtors list and contacting customers with outstanding amounts
• Coordinating the 'shop front' at the main office
• Handling customer enquiries and memberships on our database
• Performing reception/administrative tasks and other ad hoc office tasks
• Assisting with stock take and conference sales on an annual basis

Required skills/experience:

• Proficient computing skills in a range of software applications (basic Microsoft Office skills are a must)
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with a focus on providing strong customer service
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask
• Ability to learn quickly, with strong attention to detail

We are looking for someone who has a strong personal commitment to the evangelical convictions on which Matthias Media is founded, and who actively expresses that commitment in a local church. They will be a great team player and fun to work with.

Approximately 15-20 hours per week is required, negotiable prior to the start of employment and can be adjusted as needed.

Full-time salary range: $39,000-$48,000 per annum (excluding super), pro-rated to actual hours worked, depending on skills and experience.
