The e-kategoria is an alternative to receiving
the printed version of the kategoria journal.
What's the same? E-kategoria contains identical content to the
printed version. You won't miss anything.
What's different? Apart from the fact that e-kategoria arrives
in your e-mail inbox, and the printed version arrives in your letterbox,
there are some other minor differences:
1. Some of the larger graphics or pictures are removed from the
layout to reduce the size of the file. The page dimensions are also
adjusted to A4 for easier printing.
2. It's cheaper! Because it is cheaper to send by e-mail than post,
especially overseas, the e-Briefing is a significantly cheaper option.
(An inexpensive way to keep encouraging missionaries overseas who
might have an e-mail connection. Check with them first, though,
as some may have limitations on the amount they can receive.)
About PDF files e-kategoria (and also The e-Briefing)
are delivered by email as 'attachments'. These attachments
are PDF ('Portable Document Format') files. The file size
for each instalment of e-kategoria is usually around 900k.
PDF files can be opened, read,
printed and searched using the Adobe Acrobat Reader program.
This application can be downloaded free from the Adobe web
site. It is avialable for most Operating Systems. Click the
