Please note, we are no longer accepting new subscriptions to kategoria, as issue #31 will sadly be the last issue published.

For those who like to interact with the world's ideas and philosophies, kategoria is our quarterly journal of critical review. kategoria is important reading for teachers, preachers, journalists, academics, students, or anybody who wants help in understanding and critiquing the often seriously flawed assumptions and arguments of the non-Christian world.

IN THE CURRENT ISSUE (kategoria #30)
Phillip Jensen, evangelist, pastor, conference speaker and controversial Dean of Sydney, is also known to kategoria readers as an insightful writer. His new book, Prodigal World, has recently been published by Matthias Media. In this issue of kategoria, we present the first chapter of that book, a new essay evaluating the state of the world we live in, and highlighting some of the mistakes that brought us to this pass.

kategoria #30 also includes another excellent essay, the most recent Smith lecture by evangelist John Dickson. Christianity, he explains, is unlike other religions in being falsifiable—and yet it remains unfalsified. This is a challenge to all religious people, to consider the basis of their beliefs, and to the anti-religious to stop considering all religions essentially the same.

Add to that the incisive book reviews, this issue of kategoria continues to provide strong, thoughtful critique of the world out there.
